>>55679849The anime has a lot more than the 8 gyms shown in the games and Galar canonically has 18 gyms in the game lore anyways. If they wanted to they could make Ash and Gloria challenge separate gyms, but they’d have to make up bug, steel, ground, flying, electric and normal type gym leaders.
