>>51392453I actually thought some of the new mon designs were pretty alright... Pawmi is cute, Cetitan is cool, Grafaiai is weird but in an appealing way, the legendaries are pretty cool too. I'm not big on the starters but they're nowhere near as bad as gen 8's starters. I don't really like most of the human designs but Penny is extremely cute.
Granted however, maybe it just seems "alright" to me because of how unbelievably disgusting and repulsive all of gen 8's designs were, and almost anything looks good compared to that utter travesty.
I don't really love it but I certainly don't hate it honestly.
