Doubles adds some dimensions, and effectively adds new options as certain moves are straight up unplayable in singles, but it also takes away a lot of options with it. It's an offense oriented format, and while I'm no stallfag, I don't really like the inability to play it, regardless.
Look, anon, I'm okay with singles not being the format for official tournaments. I'm SORTA okay that they won't make matching for 6v6 easy. But it is absolute bullshit that GF designed PVP to inconvenience singles players at every turn. Hell, doubles can turn off the timer IIRC, but singles can't? That's some horse shit. Stop defending it. Just fucking stop. Shafting singles doesn't make me wanna play doubles, it just makes me want to stop playing.
