She's not actually the gym leader. The actual gm leader is the headmaster of an academy you will visit. Instead of a battle, he will ask you to take care of the bad students/gang who are terrorizing the academy. You battle the gang leader Ramona as the last obstacle to get your badge from the headmaster.
6th, Elena
The older sister of Arlo. She uses fairy types and is a medical researcher. She cares also cares deeply about her ill little sister. But she comes off as more reserved. Despite having a tight work schedule, she makes sure to have time to battle as a gym leader as that somehow helps let off steam from her main job.
7th, Pablo Garcia
A humble man. He wants to do nothing else but grill sausages. He can only speak Spanish. He runs the local pokémart in his town, which also happens to be the gym. He doesn't take the job seriously at all and likes to use a team consisting of Zigzagoons he found outside his mart 2 days ago. Don't worry, he's tenured.
8th, Rushman
A vigilante who you meet very early on the game. He fights for freedom against the evil team. You will battle alongside him many times and he'll start to see you as more of a rival as you take down more of the evil team.
