Plus they have to use the bathroom somehow which means they have to have the appropriate body part for it.... also they do have Male and Females which does somewhat add to the idea of genitalia... and "breeding" being a thing at all that is only possible between male and female pokemon of appropriate egg groups. Probably like birds.
Also pokemon can feel the senses of love if that was ever a debate. Its also very close to humans with the whole blushing aspect thing as well. If you don't believe me look at Oshawott, Piplup, and Meowth.
