Been a while since my last update, but I come to you now, at the turn of the tide to save the ded thread.
Like I said, I caught a Munchlax, woo! Granted it was from the underground, not the dumbass honey tree bullshit, but hey, actually getting to use this fucker in a Sinnoh playthrough is exciting. Now, moving into the Snowpoint Gym, my team's getting a good bit overleveled because of the forced XP bullshit, so I handicap myself a little bit by leading off with Houngry (also because I'm a greedy shit and I wanna maximize my happiness). However, this one of two fatal errors I make, because I'm also sort of blind-running this. I've obviously played these games before, but I'm mainly running on memory here to make it a little more fair. The point I'm getting to is that I forgot that Candice has a Medicham, and I have Munchlax on the field. Shit. The only play I can think to do is to send out Qliphoth to tank the obvious fighting move, and then Sleep Powder. I did not think she had Ice Punch, for whatever reason, otherwise I would've swapped into Naomi. But, alas, the Sleep Powder misses, and Qliphoth dies. RIP. From that point on, it's a pretty clean sweep for Justify, but losing Roserade sucks. I catch a Bronzor to cover my team's now apparent Earthquake blindspot, and we move onto the Galactic Endgame.
>>48925273I don't see what Nelson and Roosevelt are, but I think Salamence covers a number of team weakspots and is just really good in general. You already have two water-types, so I'm not sure if Kingdra is the play. Good luck with the Elite Four, tough losses.
>>48925237Rip Fork, but Nidoking is the GOAT Pokemon in Fire Red. If you're abusing X-Accuracy and Horn Drill, you basically can't lose.
