I don't know for sure but I've heard people saying their models work like jigsaws of several interchangable parts so this might require considerably more effort on the rippers part to not only get all the different parts but also to put them together as well. Can you imagine the number of upity entitled fags on the internet who would just sit there complaining that the model didn't have the combination of hat, hair tshirt, shorts shoes socks and hat-glasses they use in their game, never mind the fact they're getting the models for free?
Given the number of different clothes you can get in xy this would be a serious project on its own so is bound to take some time.
As to why there is no Brendan yet (or Steven/Wally/Birch or rip of Brendan and May in their contest outfits for that matter) I guess the ripper is waiting for the full version of the game to work on, or has XY as his priority because it has been out longer.
