I feel like Cycling Road is quite a difficulty spike. It always trips me up, even when I think I'm prepared for it. So unfortunately I fail to bring my regional bird to the end again. In fact, I've never gotten one to their final form (unless you count Fearow). I guess he would've been a bit redundant with Charizard around anyway, but I'm still upset I keep killing them. At least we didn't run into issues at Silph Co, something usually catches me off guard there too.
Big Daddy the Nidorino in the Safari Zone who claims to be here on a mission from the future to prevent our rival Blue from killing his wife, Big Mama the Nidoqueen in a battle two years from now. He's probably just crazy but he gives good coverage options. I'll come back to get the Ice Beam TM later, I'm sick of mashing through slot machines right now.
Koga was easy with two ground types on the team, one immune to poison and the other with a guaranteed to hit move. Sabrina was a different story though. Nidoking could oneshot most of her team, but Alakazam could probably do the same to us so I had to let Vaporeon go down while chipping her low enough to force her to heal so we could hit shadow ball. Grinded up Starmie as my new water type because it's perfect for nearly the entire endgame.
>>55189756Always thought that mechanic was neat. Pretty minor thing but being able to explore the same place twice like that is fun and really helps make a region feel alive imo.
>>55188386That Victory Road is brutal, it cost me my starter during my run. Good luck with the League!
>>55187299>>55187761Oof that's rough dude. Are you gonna keep going?
>>55187332Lucky you hadn't deactivated the rain before running into her then.
>>55185693Jasmine really should've gotten a ground move on her Steelix at least, her and Pryce are way too underwhelming.
>Very unfortunate that you've got an Adamant Vaporeon.Well that's solved now.. haha..
