On the second attempt, Misty uses BOTH of her X items on Qwilfish, giving Bad Dragon the opportunity to defeat it without taking any damage. Quagsire's Surf is enough to one-shot Bad Dragon, but not before it's able to deal some good damage with Fly. Lettuce easily defeats Quagsire with Giga Drain, but gets obliterated by Kingler's Swords Dance boosted X-Scissor after setting up a Leech Seed.
Misty's Kingler goes on a rampage, knocking out Brunown and Charmeleon one after the other, but a Kingler vs. Kingler showdown results in Klaus coming out on top. Klaus manages to avoid Lapras's first Thunder strike, but goes down when the second attack connects. The same happens to Ballsack, and before we know it we've already lost to Misty again.
