Ash is finally in the Finals for the first time ever but if i remember correctly everytime Ash gets closer to be Champion he always loses and in the next Region he always loses even harder. Just look at the Sinnoh League, he got 3th place i think and in Unova he got in 8th place. I believe Ash will lose this League and in Alola he will fall again but in the next one he will finally be Champion but in the other side Alan has defeated Ash in every match so it would be weird if Ash doesn't get to win.
