Alright, so new addition to the project: a "Character Bank" sourced from /vp/. Basically this is a chance for anons to create either minor characters or named npcs. This gives us a chance to get a lot of potentially different characters and make them work together in a fun way,
Minor characters constitute smaller, relatively non-important side characters that have a unique appearance but don't play a major role in the main plot (ex: Kurt the Apricorn Maker, the Karate King from Saffron, Gabby & Ty). Submissions for these will be archived and voted in at a later date.
As for NPCs, the vast majority of these concepts will be accepted unless there's substantial opposition. To make the world more interesting, these NPCs can be participants in sidequests or even have minor character arcs (such as an NPC having a crush on the local nurse joy, or an NPC telling the player about their dream to be a Pokemon Trainer, only for them to eventually become one after time has passed).
