When I was 10 years old, friends of mine and I were playing 3rd gen Pokémon games, fighting each other and such. Well, it was all normal, 'till we moved to mid-school. Everyone started seeing Pokémon like a game for "kids", except me. I just continued liking the franchise, although I didn't buy any of the newer games. Then I went to High-school. First years were totally crap, almost nobody in classroom liked it. THEN. This year everything changed. Half of my classmates like Pokémon/accept the fact that it's a game like another. I think I kinda feel satisfied now, assuming I'm playing Pokémon X with some irl buddies.
