>>27247994Kalos' "desert" isn't even a desert though. It's a badlands caused by too much irrigation. The game explains it to you. And if you notice, the gate leading to it follow's Lumiose's river, adding to that explanation. But yeah even I have to call shenanigans on Snowbelle's gym causing snow.
Also Sinnoh's desert area was actually just a bunch of ash from the volcano, like route 119.
