>>44648977>Items and ranks are not that significant to make a difference.They actually make a difference in the gameplay unlike being able to walk around in friend areas which served no real purpose. It just added needless hoops to get through when picking and editing your team. Friend areas aren't even gone, you can still listen to their music and look at the artwork of the location.
If there's any meaningless feature that I'm FUCKING PISSED that they removed, it's the ability to walk around town and "be" any Pokémon outside of dungeons.
