Why is it that phoneposters are such dense fucking blockheads?
I theorize that because they post from a phone, it is more difficult to type moderately long posts (more than two sentences). Because it is difficult to convey anything meaningful in that short of a post, they simply stop trying. The overall value of their posts decays over a short period.
I think it would be neat to have an experiment where you have one group of people posting from phones, and another group posting from a computer. Record the average length of each post, and have a board of experts determine the value of each post. After two weeks, switch the groups so that phones are now on PC, and visa versa. I hypothesize that the group which switches from phone to PC would see an increase in post length and quality, while the group that switches to phones would see the complete opposite. Is there anyway I could setup an experiment like this and prove that phoneposters are the inferior group? Any volunteers?
