Put yourself in their shoes, all of a sudden you're the attention of thousands of pokemon playing children and adults. At first, you like it a lot, and you're ok with what you're being payed for it via ads.
Then you realize
"Hmm, maybe I can make more, if I put out different kinds of videos?"
So they stoop to shit they don't usually do like collabs and nuzlockes and or competitive or whatever it is they didn't start with.
The more videos they make with different content, the more money they make. Pretty much all it comes down to, the money.
The more they put themselves out there, the more money they make. They don't care if you disliked their video. If you dont have adblock, you gave them money. Being payed a little more just to play Pokemon is actually kind of fun.
