>>49537484I think it's probably more realistic that the volcano forms the basis of the region around the league while the "battle zone" is simply inaccessible in PLA. The map in OP is at a 45 degree angle compared to DPPt's, so the volcano isn't North, it's North East.
Granted it's weird that "Sakhalin" isn't visible at all since it's been portrayed as so close before, but I'm just going to pass that off as more as a contrivance of trying to fit the whole map on one screen in DP rather than it being literal, or that Hisui's people haven't ventured that far out so it hasn't been recorded.
