Abridgestery Dungeon is great, absolutely loved it; started reading about halfway through and was gripped on page 1 lol. Hits way harder all in one go; learned that when I reread it the other day. It’s a functional retelling but the characters really make it something special (and also some of the smaller stuff like Kip’s crunchwrap and the wish for his old phone coming true, not to mention the best one- Kilroy and Kip both being human, but from different universes, that shit put the widest smile on my face)

Also- probably the only other artist I’ve ever seen who also draws with anti-aliasing off? Even if he’s kinda started using aa for shading, it’s cool to know I’m not just an autistic retard who can’t stand the thought of blurry lines on her tiny sub-1k canvasses lol.

Maybe someday I’ll actually get off my ass and put all the worldbuilding I do in my spare time to good use and make a comic like him too. I’ve wanted to for almost a decade now but Abridgestery really reignited that dying flame lol. Especially when it showed that webcomics can in fact end!!

tldr fuck yes abridgestery is (at least one of) the best and I love it dearly
we need more pokemon webcomic threads, I must indulge further in my unhealthy addiction to these things

I have some form of appreciation for almost every single mon due to stuff like this
never use the same species more than once, and it’s given me a great love for a lot of them
does make me a bit sad that I haven’t really got a forever bro like most people here, but I’m sure I’ll find mine someday
