And 4chan is known for having very little rules (Not no rules mind you, there are several global and several board-specific rules.). Not to mention 4chan is still very much a part of the older early days of the internet well before social media and Political Correctness taking over the internet.
And then of course the politics board was added and things went even further downhill from there.
