>>54034765Turtonator should for all intents and purposes be the the most Chad Dragon-type. It's Fire/Dragon typing covers each other very well, getting rid of the worst weaknesses either have like Water, Ice, and notably Fairy, leaving only Ground, Rock, and Dragon. It's also resistant to Bug, Steel, and Electric at 1/2 damage, and VERY resistant to both Grass and Fire at 1/4 damage.
Unfortunately metawise its stats don't take very good advantage of this. It has a very high physical defense at 135, but only a decent 85 special defense and actually relatively shit HP stat of 60. It's speed is an abysmal 35 meaning there's a good chance it'll go down in a single effective special attack before it has gotten to do anything. Even if it does survive to the next turn, it's attack stats aren't the best and may not do the job you need it to.
Overall it's a cool pokemon but held back by its stats and ultimately overshadowed by Mega Charizard X who was introduced a generation earlier.
