>>49892916Random tangent, but I'm reminded of suggestion/complaint I made constantly through the XY era, re: Serena. It peeved me off to no end that the anime decided to invent Kalos Competitions out of no where to give Serena something to do, when we've already had multiple Contest girls. Serena is an in-game player character for god's sake, why couldn't she be a trainer like Ash, training with him, try to beat the Gyms alongside him. It'd be so interesting to see how their teams development separately, how they tackle each Gym Leader, who manages to win their badge first. Give him a semi rival he travels with. I'm a massive XY Fan and I still hate this decision
