>>37231486>Ash has met a considerable amount of trainers older than him that he’s had more experience with and done better than they did when they were his ageyes, when they were HIS age. they had decades more to hone their skills. ash wins because main character, and it's never even fun to guess or see how he pulls off a win. it's not like the first season of lupin III where you go "how the heck did he pull THAT off?" its always just "he hit the other pokemon harder", "his pokemon evolved mid-battle", or just a flat out asspull.
>Both DP and XY questioned his morals, his way of thinking, his way of raising his Pokémon, and he was challenged and put behind hurdles due to the flaws he hasthey do this but there was never any fucking doubt that "friendship" was the right way of doing things. the hurdles are only a storytelling facade in a bad attempt at character growth or realization. it's not that deep.
>the whole bad storytelling thing is bs.are you really defending pokemon's storytelling of all things? jesus christ.
yes, other kids haven't gone on journeys and they're reasonably not as strong as he is, but ash is still a fuckin' dip regardless and shouldn't be this special snowflake that the show passes him off as. not saying he can't be great at battling, but there's a threshold that has to be kept as to keep them well grounded. he's by no means a master or worthy of coming close to that title.
face it, you have a mental deficiency. pic related, its what you're doing.
