Originally I imposed a few restrictions, such as no TM moves, No items in battle, etc., but I ended up dropping the no items rule once I got to flannery. Even though I was like 20 levels higher than her stuff, I couldn't prevent her from setting up sunny day and then blasting me with overheat once torkoal hit the field. I had to stall on the slugmas and pump mawile with X Items so it could survive the fight with torkoal.
Sydney was another sore spot, surprisingly. Despite the type disadvantage, the intimidate from his Mightyena made it harder that expected to take on the rest of his team.
She was level 96 by the end of the run. Still got her in one of my boxes somewhere.
