>>55741011People still did not realized that while Pokemon is good "for now", the constant criticism, poorly accepted projects and advancements from all kinds of concurent franchises slowly but surely erode their consumer base. There's only that much time till all these 30+yo millenials will be gone and new generations have less and less nostalgia for Pokemon. It also does not help that lately we see signs of certain ppl that are well known for ruining franchises getting involved in Pokemon.
Maybe Pokemon will be fine for next few years or so but reality is that it will just be going down unless something major will change. I don't see this behemoth of a franchise being sustainable long term.
