This (8th) arena is set in a volcano, similiar to Blanes Arena in the Anime. Due to the heat is a constant Drought (Sunny Day is still in the moveset, because, ya know, rain dance n'shit. And sometimes I battle outside the arena and stuff).
To get through the arena you'd have to move over rocks floating in the lava, frogger-style. If you move off-screen, you fall in a room with trainers in it and you have to fight your way to a teleporter to the beginning of the arena. There are also Trainers on stationary platforms which you can use to take a break.
Don't get me wrong on Moltres, it's comes every now and then to the volcano and we're just friends. I didn't catch it or use it in battle or something.

I called it "Flare Badge", because Volcano Badge already exists...
The heavy occurence of Solar Beam/Sunny Day (and Rotom) is especially to counter Water/Ground/Rock-Types.
