Cyndaquil will evolve eventually so I wouldn't be able to carry him on my shoulder anymore.
I always thought Morty would be the kind of guy who'd went into a journey to prove himself he's strong after being beaten by the mc and also looking for Ho-Oh and the legendary dogs after they run away from the tower, he would be the Brock of the group at one point he becomes obsessed with being stronger so he would be worthy at Ho-Oh's eyes he ends discovering you don't need to prove nothing to nobody (not even a giant legendary bird) and that you're fine the way you are.
For Whitney she's one of the 3 first leaders that makes it easy to introduce her early on the story and always thought she would be dickish and arrogant (the incredibly pretty girl, etc) towards anyone who wouldn't recognize her superiority or something like that to make the character more interesting, after being beaten she spies the MC along with that girl inside the Goldenrod gym (the one that explains to you she always cries when lose) until Jasmine's gym and officially joins the group after the three save Ampharos, and that one girl (the one in Goldenrod gym) convincing her to go in a journey so she would become more mature and self-effacing.
And Silver well... He's still Silver but his Totodile is incredibly cheerful in contrast to his edgy personality.
Everything takes place on the majestic, fantastic and best of all Johto region, see you next episode!.
