In each Frontier the Tower was one facility of 5-7, the rest having differences that affected how you played and therefore added longevity for people looking for a challenge. The only similarity the Battle Tree as to the Battle Arcade, Factory or Castle is that you get BP. They do not serve the same function beyond that.
The Maison and Tree absolutely pale in comparison to the Frontiers and only a GF apologist could attempt to argue otherwise.
