I'm looking for, in particular
>"Fan-Fixed" games, basically improvements over third versions of the game that make the game harder and/or give much needed QoL improvements
>No fakemons, but future pokemon ported over is fine(plan to port over pokemon I catch to my official carts, fakemon are a waste of space but seeing future gen pokemon in a different environment might be interesting enough for me to consider using them)
>No cringe storytelling or characters, having to endure content from official games is enough
>Games that challenge the player, but aren't super cheap about it to the point of trolling or unironically needing to run meta competitive movesets just to play the game
The only thing I got loaded up currently is that gold romhack that basically finished up the spaceworld beta into a full proper game, since I was looking forward to that, but aside from that I don't really have a clue which romhacks are the best or keep up with the community
