I leveled up my entire team to the E4 level cap to try to avoid an almost team wipe like in my silver run. Alakazam soloed the first three, and Karen was pretty easy. I wasn't sure if Alakazam could one shot Aerodactyl so I switched to Clefable, but it got killed by ancient power followed by a crit hyper beam. I brought Alakazam back in and it turns out it was a one shot. After that, Qwilfish took out his Charizard and Stantler took out his last Dragonite with 1 hp remaining.
Losing Clefable like this sucks but it was my weakest team member and I was thinking of replacing it in Kanto anyway.
