>>58194323I completely agree. The switch to digital animation near the end of Johto was a massive downgrade. It's far harsher to look at and so bright it'd burn your eyes off. XY did benefit from great animation but it still doesn't look nearly as nice as the old cel animated episodes do. Until Sun & Moon BW was the worst looking by far.
