I've been playing the Age of Kings Definitive Edition and the work they've done to the AI is incredible. I'm watching it herd deer and shit. And an RTS like has seemingly way more complexity than a turn-based battle system.
With a lot of work, we could get an AI good enough to beat champs if they have a good team.
