Ability: Forsake Idolatry--Before attacking a target, this Pokémon's primary type will change to be offensively super-effective. Before taking damage, this Pokémon's secondary type will change to render incoming damage not very effective. When this Pokémon appears, all opponents lose 50% of their current HP.
Dex Entry: By reuniting with the Legend Plate and absorbing its power, the mythical Pokémon Arceus assumes is Origin Forme and takes its place as the true, Almighty Sinnoh. When the universe was young, Arceus regressed from its divine, true form into its Origin Forme and then proceeded to settle within the mortal realms and divide its sacrificed, sacred power into other Pokémon. This granted them the potential to achieve forms that extended their faculties beyond physical and metaphysical limits. Of these forms, none was more splendorous than Idolous Convergence which in theory could draw infinite power from worshipers and believers. It was during this time of peace and unity between the creator and its beloved children that Arceus is said to have taken an Idolous form of its own. However, the Alpha Pokémon watched in sadness as its children became drunk with the powers given to them through worship and hatched a plot against it. With no other choice, Arceus was forced to once again assume its Origin Forme. This time, it would use its powers for judgement and destruction instead of creation. Arceus purged the world of Idolous Convergence's unifying light and sacrificed its Origin Forme to seal the power of idolatry within three precious gems and a sacred tablet of stone.
