Or the same people who connect the Decidueye in Pokken with Ash because it blushed that one time.
Hate to tell you kiddo, but that's not a hint of him actually evolving. Any pokemon in the anime can train train with each other for an entire season without evolving, like for instance, owshawott and cynidaquill, they had a special special training episodes with Ash Ash that showed their development for the series, and some other little parts that show off how far they improved and even after that they didn't evolve at all. And before you say

And what exactly does having a rivalry or a sparing partners have to do with hints of evolution? They're only making them do that So they'd at least be doing more things then sleeping all day, like what they where doing before the Lillie arc started.
Until they strait up say, litten or Rowlet is close evolving...well pic related says it better then I could.
