Beware of spoilers for the show LOST but not really cause the nuzlocke creates relationships that never happened but are amusing to me. All the names are picked from a randomizer where I listed all the character names.
Started with Richard the Totodile which I hope is a good sign since that would imply he is possibly immortal. Just like in the Heartgold run, I had to bypass lots of trainers to not over level myself before Faulkner or Bugsy. I went to route 32 and was praying for a not-wooper since I'm sure that would have guaranteed getting wiped in sprout tower. Picked up a Mareep there and I guess Richard got yellow fever cause I rolled Sun. She is not very effective against grass, but at least she wouldn't die to a vine whip. The type combo of Water/Electric should perform well. So I got through Sprout Tower/Faulkner/Bugsy basically with just those 2 since Illana died on the road.
I went to go get headbutt after Bugsy and did the rival battle. It wasn't difficult but holy shit that Bayleef is a tank. I hit it with growls so its razor leaf didn't threaten me, not even Richard. But between its natural bulk,Reflect, and Synthesis; I thought the fight was going to go into struggle territory. But some crits helped me out and now I could use headbutt and build a team.
Danielle/Hoot-Hoot married Hurley/Aipom. A couple of lunatics in love: what could go wrong? Interesting type pairing since Hurley will only be weak to fighting and Danielle could protect him from that. maybe
Meanwhile, Alexandra (Danielle's daughter) was transformed into a Slowpoke after being kidnapped. She appears to have also fallen for Charlie the Hoppip, who in typical rock-star fashion,is with the nearest teenage girl. Charlie being useless right now while also knowing "Splash" is funny shit. Decent type pairing if Charlie lives long enough to learn anything.
