-I haven't liked what GF's been doing with Pokemon after Platinum. Pokemon has always been called a rehashed series by some but that definitely applies to HGSS. The Gen 2 remakes was just a cosmetic change that didn't fix any of the problems gen 2 always had: poor level scaling, bare post game, poor introduction of region-specific pokemon, and slow pacing. With BW/B2W2, I decided to never get hyped for Pokemon ever again. In BW, the game was far too linear, barely implemented it's new features in the main story/game, too many pokes with bad stats, and very little for the post game. B2W2 didn't fix these problems but instead badly redesigned old characters with new characters, brought in more unnecessary legendaries, and gave the region much worse pacing.
-"Nostalgiafag" is commonly referred to people who don't like new stuff while preferring old stuff. While that is true, it's greater ratio for the people accepting everything new of this franchise while blindly accusing the person who doesn't like something new to be a Gen 1 nostalgia fag. It's easy to see that when people will only praise rather than actually discuss a franchises direction that their love is not rational but purely based on blind faith.
-Unpopular opinion threads tend to be bad. It usually becomes a thread for people with poor taste to fester since there is no set expectation to explain your unpopular opinion, just post it.
-Sugimori's art been becoming more and more generic since HGSS.
