>Upon finding a small Pokémon, it weaves clothing for it from leaves, using the cutters on its arms and sticky silk.also there is an NPC in xy who says something about a time when humans and pokemon used to have trade and commerce with one another —they're in the town with the big lucario tower, search the houses and you'll find them
so we can presume that this kind of commerce still exists to an extent amongst certain pokemon —where do those kung-fu guys get their clothes from? ding dong
i don't want to go too far in to 'in-game lore' 'deepest lore' 'depth canon' or anything like that, the main point is that with pokemon you have to allow yourself to believe the unbelievable and if a pokemon can evolve into a set of magnets gears and icecream then one can probably figure out how to operate a camera and teach its buddies to do the same. just because an in-game sprite is holding an item, it doesn't mean that the pokemon is 'born' with that item. however, those pokemon that are battle-ready, the ones you come across in-game —would have the damn camera already and would wanna take a photo of you, and run away.
>>22981310>a one-time side-quest thing, where one of them apparently snapped an embarassing photo and you need to catch the pokemon and bring it backyeah something like this —once the side-quest is activated it could appear on random routes like ye olde doges n genies —but as a change this guy isn't a legend, it is more farfetch'd/sudowoodo-tier —only one of them in-game floating somewhere between UU/RU/NU
so
>let alone an entire species all holding camerasthere would only be one of these guys running around snapping photos
and a pokemon being capable of anything never really crosses the line of disbelief as it is a fairytale magical world full of ghosts, dragons, and slowkings and alakazams.
