And anon is right as long as that is "the" format, trick room will be forever gimped in most other arenas. I know it is solid in 3v3 singles, but any format that takes more turns, speed control, a distinctly important strategy, loses effect. I disagree that doubles is the worst because it too has it's own unique strategies. To me the select 4 of 6 is designed to be a timer which I find to be an inherent restriction on diverse strategy. I understand that like 3v3 singles it is a format designed around an escalated offense, and I'm not asking to remove these formats, but rather implement formats that enable the use of diverse game strategies that already exist in game.
