The third battle goes about the same as the first (notably, Klaus becomes our first Pokémon to reach level 100 in this battle), but in the fourth battle we start seeing some better results. Miltank's Rollout misses a few times, giving us an opportunity to send in Lettuce to take care of it without even needing to sacrifice Ballsack. Lettuce even manages to take out Blissey one-on-one. It sets up Leech Seed on Clefable, but gets defeated on the second turn by a Belly Drum boosted Play Rough.
Charmeleon finishes off Clefable with Flamethrower, and even wins one-on-one with Azumarill after exchanging Thunderbolt and Aqua Jet. Like usual though, it's no match for Ursaring's Earthquake. This time, however, it manages to burn Ursaring with Flamethrower before fainting. Ballsack comes in next with Surf, and Ursaring's Attract isn't enough to stop it from using Surf again in the next turn. Ballsack manages to get Whitney's Snorlax to flinch twice with Waterfall, then survives a Body Slam and defeats Snorlax the following turn. Whitney bursts into tears as she hands over the gold Plainbadge.
