>>37532403I understand why they couldn't do it now, but back then when I was a kid I was so fucking upset. I had about 50+ bromons in my Gold save file, a good chunk coming from my Yellow save file. I wasn't willing to give them all up, nor was I wanting to catch them all again because it didn't feel the same. Considering the lack of a Stadium game for Gen 3 (Colosseum barely fills this void), there was just no point anymore and I pretty much dropped out of Pokemon until Gen 5.
They were all gone in the massacre of Gold running out of its battery save.
