Let's have a little thought experiment... Imagine that Pokemon Platinum has just been released, things are going as usual on /vp/. The front page has a thread about how Giratina is one of the best designed legendary Pokemon ever, the first response on that thread has a sarcastid response: "Are you even trying" accompanied by a picture of Suicune. In other threads, autists are living their waifu and furry fantasies.
Then I come here with this picture: "Swords of Justice" and tell you that these are the upcoming designs for Gen V legendaries. They are all quadrupedal Fighting-Type Legendary Pokemon. Would you have believed me?
Look at them: a "pony" (not like Ponyta, mind you) and other designs that do look like they're out of deviantArt (One of them even has a scarf-tumor). But you love this shit, don't you. The series should have ended in Gen IV, after they announced the Creator/God Pokemon. They should have made Gen III remakes and try to expand the mythos in another way, but Pokemon is a cashcow now, with design standards so low, that even the "supercool" legendary pokemon designs are garbage. Put a Suicune or a Giratina next to it and tell me you would have believed these were authentic Gen V legendary Pokemon.
