>>35835287I recently watched the jap version and it seems like the eng version changed the whole message of the movie. Plus the prologue was super depressing (a homage to astro boy, amber is literally tobio) so I understand why 4kids removed it, but it makes the rest of the movie really confusing because it seems like mewtwo is attacking people for no reason. The japanese version goes on and on about "living beings" and how precious intelligent life is, and how mewtwo yearns to feel valid as a real creature instead of an artificial lifeform.
So actually the entire movie is just astro boy.
