Since my last post on hgss, I destroyed Morty with insomnia noctowl, which he can't touch at all.
For the 5th gym, the primeape was so scary. I got one leech seed and afterwards I literally couldn't get a single hit in after the first of 6 double teams. Afterwards the primeape was free to rock slide and focus punch until the leech seed killed it after a hyper potion. If only I had an aerial acing spearow that didn't get critted by a -3 attack, -6 accuracy, paralyzed miltank. The poliwrath was not so interesting.
For the 6th gym, I choose for the ice gym, as the team rocket hideout can have a garanteed geodude encounter and I did not possess an adequate response towards jasmine's magnemites considering my team consists of primarily water and flying types or pokemons with non-existent sp.def, not by choice.
pryce was a joke, as his seel and dewgong cannot deal with choice specs amphoros.
I'm now EV training the graveler for HP and attack until it hits the level cap of 35 and then I'm going to destroy jasmine with choice specs gyarados of all things.
I've also done some calcs for claire and belly drum return poliwrath should barely be able to sweep her only because my poliwhirl has 1-3 attack IVs.
