About to do a run of Sword. The team I planned out so far is: Cinderace, Toxtricity, Grimmsnarl, Mr. Rime. I’m possibly thinking about Sandaconda or Corviknight for slot 5 but Idk yet. My favorite type however, is water, which brings me to me main problem. I’m having a hard time with the last member of my team because there are:
A. No good old gen water types until late game
B. Dracovish is hard to get in Sword unless you trade and I have zero patience for doing link trades for hours on end because of the people that do link trades only to show off shines and they refuse to negotiate (plus I kinda want to play the game without having to trade or transfer)
C. The Galar water types in my opinion are all AWFUL stat and design wise.

Sorry, but I personally don’t like it.
D. There is also a severe lack of non-water type Pokémon that can use water attacks.
Any suggestions?
