>>51260263Just pointing out that it had the same spines on its back as Cubone did in G1, and the only official art that shows at least part of its face does resemble a Charmander a bit. That plus the skull looking a bit like a Charizard's (rather than a Marowak's) fits with the theory in the pics. Do I think Cubone is a Charmander? No - but it's interesting.
Still doesn't explain how a Cubone can have a skull mask if it's mom is still alive in the Daycare center.
