>>48372425>SidneySkarmory opens up, sets spikes and switches to Heracross who proceeds to sweep free
>PhoebeSame start, only switching into Cacturne who hides behind a Substitute and proceeds to faint attack sweep, an Ice Beam broke it but it naturally outspeeds Dusclops allowing him to re-set
>GlaciaSame start with spikes, Ice Ball takes 4 turns to kill, I switch after the 3rd into Heracross who proceeds to make mince meat of her team
>DrakeSpikes are set, throw Toxic on the Sheilgon to force a Full Restore later - Bring in Chimecho to set-up Calm Minds behind Reflect and Yawn before promptly blasting Drake's dragons, their crunches don't really threaten Chimecho due to being special in gen 3, so any dragon dances are a wasted turn.
>WallaceThings were pretty clean first, breaking the Wailord's HP some, though Water Spout almost 1HKOs Skarmory which forces me to switch to Walrein to whittle it down with Body Slams, I rest and proceed to switch to Heracross for Ludicolo.
Ludicolo gets gibbed by Megahorn, then it's a matter of switching around the Tentacruel who luckily misses one of two hydro pumps letting me move onto the Champ's last few mons with my health looking good. Once Cacturne gets in behind a sub it falls down to Milotic, she takes down my Chimecho, but the fresh switch to Heracross lets me close it with a final Brick Break.
I've played Platinum more than the others, a little recently too sort of, but I'll probably go again, I had a pretty interesting team by the end game (and a lot of casualties)
Emerald is definitely a stroke more difficult than most gens vanilla I'd say. The leaders are pretty notorious and you can really get fucked for catches in most areas if you lose valuable mons.
