Traded a Minior for an Aegislash that I later found to be trained to nearly level 90, from level 20ish. Fully EV trained to boot.
Traded a starter (I think) for a Salamence to complete my livingdex, months later checked it and saw it's level 100, trained up from an egg, but had garbage EVs & movepool. Fixed those and now have a team member for the battle tree ribbon.
Bought a legit copy of Platinum to replace the bootleg I've had for years, already had a save file. Checked it and found a shiny Charizard from 2007.
Checked them all in PKHeX and they're all legit as far as I can tell.
