Those weird crocs on old Sun are also real bland, while Ultra Sun look simple yet visually interesting.
Now back to the artwork, he just seems way more expressive. Old Sun has no discernible characteristics through his artwork. He just seems lifeless. New Sun is excited and ready to explore. He's a genki boy, which is understandable since he is on new territory and explains how he can deal with Hau. Both are hyper active and excitable kids.
