for those who don't know there are ten distinct color groups which all pokemon are divided into
I.E.
if the opponent pokemon is RED then rainbow snake becomes fire/dragon
BLUE - water/dragon
YELLOW - electric/dragon
BROWN - ground/dragon
GREEN - grass/dragon
PURPLE - poison/dragon
PINK - psychic/dragon
BLACK - dark/dragon
WHITE - ice/dragon
GREY - ghost/dragon
there are only ten colors of pokemon so it wouldn't have full type range but it could get all of the special types + ghost & ground. it would have interesting ramifications because while a lot of pokemon have colors which math their type a lot don't. Lavoon is blue and so it's reflected type would be water which would give rainbow dragon resistance to both of Lavoons stabs but Forthorn is black which would make the rainbow snake super effective (dark) and solcari is green which would make rainbow snake weak to both of solcaris types.
it would create an entirely new dynamic when it came into battle making people have to think about which colors their pokemon are in addition to type.
