While i wouldn't technically define it as stealing, there are a lot of models trained on works of a specific artist with the intent of recreating his style. They often work very well and are a result of the AI learning this style, kinda like a human would, from the images it was trained on.
Ofcourse this does result in people making free, fast and 0 effort images that could pass as the artist's own work, which threatens the current way artists make their living. But as a consumer i am happy to get to generate niche characters/concepts in the styles of my favorite artists without having to pay out of the ass or bother some guy that doesn't want to do my silly commissions. It also makes exciting new things possible like porn in the style of an artist that only does SFW stuff and vice versa. Crossovers are very fun too, princess peach looks great in the pokemon artstyle, for example.
This is also ignoring that like 90% of AI images are some overdesigned anime moeblob in a grating 2.5D soup artstyle
