Surprisingly he only had 3 Pokemon. Another trend of these fangames is having a prominent trainer having an Eevee in their team early on, in this case this guy had an Umbreon. It would have been really difficult to take down normally but I lucked out and got a Makuhita via this game's wonder trade and it swept his entire gym.
